WYATT
Khari Wyatt is an accomplished writer, director, actor, poet and social commentator whose work has been seen on movie screens across the world and on American television, heard on internet radio and read in various publications.
His first theatrical offering, the short film “Stompin’ Down at Sugar Love’s” screened in numerous film festivals throughout the United States and Europe. These festivals include the Urbanworld Film Festival, the Raindance Independent Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film was also featured on the Black Entertainment Television series, Quix Flix; BET Jazz's Best Shorts Showcase, the Sankofa Review which aired on the PBS Network, and in the Dutch pop magazine, BLVD.
An accomplished writer, Wyatt’s screenplays have placed in the Heart of Austin Screenplay competition, the prestigious Chesterfield Writer’s Film Project and earned him a fellowship in the Guy Hanks/Marvin Miller Screenwriting Program established by Drs. Bill and Camille Cosby. His articles have appeared in Howard University's Hilltop, entertainment magazine, The Humor Mill, and the National Urban League's, Opportunity Journal. His blog, Superville Review, features writing on sports, politics and culture.

Recently, Wyatt released his debut spoken word album, Elevator, which has been featured on several internet radio stations in the U.S. and abroad. He also appeared, in a recurring role, on the CBS/20th Century Fox television drama, Shark.
Currently, Mr. Wyatt sits on the Public Policy Committee of the Los Angeles Urban League's Young Professionals. He is a faithful volunteer of Peace 4 Kids an organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering foster youth in Los Angeles. Mr. Wyatt is an alumnus of Howard University and owns an MFA in Film from Columbia University in the city of New York. |
